The photo must include your head, shoulders and upper body. Do not crop the photo yourself — the official system will crop it. This app exports at 1200×1500 px, which exceeds the GOV.UK minimum size.
UKVI digital photos must be at least 600×750 pixels (the app exports 1200×1500 px), JPEG format, between 50 KB and 6 MB, vertically orientated, not mirrored or flipped, with a plain light-coloured background. The photo must show your head, shoulders and upper body. You can use a phone or tablet to take the photo.
