Thailand visa photo requirements guide

1. Start with the route and artifact

Thai e-Visa, walk-in VOA, TM.7 extension, and provider-specific eVOA are not one interchangeable submission route. The passport bio page is also a separate artifact from the applicant face photo.

2. Central Thai e-Visa guidance

The central public guidance supports JPEG / JPG, a photo within 6 months, a light-coloured and plain background, and a centered forward-facing pose. The public central record does not establish a fixed pixel size, physical size, aspect ratio, crop, or DPI contract.

• Do not copy a Cairo, Doha, Singapore, VOA, TM.7, or eVOA value into the central route.
• Confirm the live portal instructions for your current location and visa category before submission.

3. Post and provider-specific routes

The 30 × 40 mm Cairo value, the Doha post limits, the Singapore post record, the 40 × 60 mm VOA/TM.7 operational guidance, and the Taiwan eVOA provider value are scoped records. They are useful only when the matching post, provider, and channel applies.

• Doha: JPG / JPEG, 300 PPI minimum, and maximum 3 MB for the scoped Qatar-resident route.
• Singapore: 472 × 709 px and 40 × 60 mm are retained with a conflict status.
• Taiwan eVOA provider: JPEG, 40 × 60 mm, and less than 1024 KB.

4. Prepare the two files separately

For the face photo, follow the route-specific photo guidance. For the passport bio page, use a clear JPG / JPEG image that shows the full page and readable MRZ, up to 3 MB in the official example. Do not treat a passport crop as the face photo requirement.

5. Confirm before submitting
