• Migrationsverket asks for copies where "All information in the passport must be clearly visible on the copies": personal details, the period of validity, the issuing country, the signature (wherever page of the passport it is on), residence rights in other countries, the machine-readable code on the identity page, the numbers and symbols at the top and bottom of the pages, and — for stamped pages — the entire stamped page.
• You can photograph or scan the pages of the passport and attach them in the e-service (paper copies apply when not applying in the e-service).
• The legibility of the copies (all information clearly visible) is officially required.
• No file format, numeric file-size cap, page count, colour, or merge policy exists on the official public pages and remains unregistered in the Requirement record.
