Poland Working Holiday photo requirements

What the official information confirms

The Poland Working Holiday ("Zwiedzaj i Pracuj", a Japan-only programme under the Japan-Poland agreement) national visa (type D) is applied for by creating the form and booking an interview on e-Konsulat, then lodging the documents in person at the consular counter of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan (mail / fax / e-mail submission is not accepted).

e-Konsulat is not a photo upload channel. This tool prepares the print photo only; the submission remains the applicant's own action. The Poland Schengen C visa (35×45 mm print) is a separate route with the same size, and the MOS residence permit route (684×883 px digital) is a separate authority chain.

• The official document list requires a colour photograph of 35 x 45 mm (width x height) (3.5 x 4.5 cm).
• The photo must be sharp, taken on a white background, and printed on high-quality paper, as officially required.
• The photo must be no more than 6 months old, as officially required.
• The photo must be taken head-on, showing the eyes and face clearly from both sides, from the top of the head to the upper part of the shoulders, with the face occupying 70-80% of the photo; headwear must be removed.
• The number of photos to submit is not specified numerically by the official list (the Requirement record keeps this unspecified).

How unspecified conditions are handled

The phrase “passport-size” and general photo practice are not converted into a fixed value such as 35×45 mm. In the Tool, enter the dimensions shown by the current application guidance.

• Keep the application guidance available and enter the output type and dimensions you have confirmed.
• No face guide is shown to fill in an official value that has not been confirmed.
• After editing and review, confirm the accepted format and conditions in the application portal before submitting.
