Pakistan Online Visa is not one universal photo workflow. Regular POVS leaf routes, VPA, the current general mobile flow, and mission/manual submissions have different boundaries.

2. Prepare the Regular POVS photo

The current RequirementRecord projects 35 × 45 mm, 6 months, plain-white, and face occupancy 70–80%. These are physical/appearance facts; they do not establish digital pixels or a global byte cap.

  • Keep the face and likeness unchanged.
  • Treat the digital validator as unresolved until the authenticated portal confirms it.

3. Keep upload conflicts visible

Public photograph guidance, generic upload HTML, and an official upload PDF expose different byte surfaces. Regular POVS public surfaces currently expose conflicting upload limits and legacy pixel guidance. The conflict is retained; no single digital maxBytes or pixel size is asserted.

  • Do not advertise 350KB, 500KB, or 7MB as a single universal limit.
  • Mission-specific 200KB evidence must not be promoted to Pakistan-wide policy.

4. Separate passport and supporting documents

The passport bio-data page is a separate artifact with JPEG / JPG / PNG / PDF. Supporting documents use JPEG / JPG / PNG / PDF; page count, certification, and exact validator rules are not globally resolved.

  • Preserve the source document unless the selected route says otherwise.
  • Do not use a passport page as the face-photo file.

5. Mobile and mission boundaries

VPA live photograph / facial liveness is an app-managed flow, not an external prepared-photo requirement. The current general mobile flow remains separate from the regular POVS authenticated validator. Guangzhou and Chengdu 200KB/original-only evidence is mission-scoped and is not a Pakistan-wide limit.
