The Requirement record is the source of truth; unspecified values are not filled in.

• The official mission checklist requires the photo to be 30 x 40 mm (width x height) (verbatim "3 x 4 cm"). The verbatim size source is the checklist layer of the Latvian diplomatic mission; the current regulation (MK No.564 § 28.2) and the PMLP central pages publish no photo dimensions.
• One photo must be provided (verbatim "vienu krāsainu dokumentu fotogrāfiju" — one colour document photo).
• The photo must be in colour, as officially stated.
• Background, face geometry, and recency are not stated on the mission page, in the current regulation, or on the PMLP central pages, and remain unregistered in the Requirement record. Values from other requirements (such as the Schengen visa) are not carried over.
• The face image captured for the residence permit card itself (biometrijas dati at the PMLP office or the mission) is a separate layer and is not confused with the document photo the applicant prepares.
