About data collection

The app is designed so that the developer does not collect or store photo contents or face analysis results.

• Photo data is processed on the device only
• Face detection and background adjustment run on the device
• Photos and analysis results are not sent to any external server
• Purchases use Apple's StoreKit and do not include photo contents
• No user registration, login, or account creation is required

Data processed on the device

The following data may be stored or processed on your device to create a Japan visa application photo.

• Photos you capture or select
• Crop, framing, and positioning settings
• Hair segmentation mask (for precise hair edge handling during background adjustment)
• Person segmentation mask (for background adjustment)
• Background color adjustment, brightness adjustment, and export settings
• Purchase state and transaction information

How face data is handled

• This app uses face detection (locating faces and facial feature points in images), not face recognition (identifying or matching individuals). Face data is processed only on the user's device.
• Information from face detection, such as face dimensions, eye and mouth positions, and head tilt, is used solely to help align, crop, resize, and preview the photo according to Japan e-Visa photo specifications, and to support background adjustment or natural photo correction where applicable.
• Face data is not retained. The app does not store face detection results after the photo preparation process is completed.
• Face data is not uploaded to our servers.
• Face data is not shared with third parties.
• Face data is not used for identification, authentication, face recognition, identity matching, tracking, profiling, advertising, or building any biometric database.
• The app does not create or store face templates, biometric identifiers, or facial profiles.

Camera and photo library access

• Camera: used to capture a photo for your Japan visa application
• Photo Library (read): used to choose an existing photo for editing
• Photo Library (save): used to save print-ready images and JPEG exports

How billing information is handled

Payments in the app are processed through Apple's StoreKit.

• Payment information is managed by Apple and is not directly accessible in the app
• Purchase verification is handled primarily on-device, and transaction data may be stored locally to manage exports
• Photo data and purchase details are not sent to any external server

Third-party sharing

The developer does not share the following data with third parties.

• Photo data
• Image adjustment results

Data retention

• All photo data and related metadata are stored exclusively on your device and retained only for as long as you keep the associated project in the app
• No data is retained on any external server because the developer does not operate a server that receives app data

Deleting data

• You can delete individual photo projects at any time within the app, which permanently removes the associated photos and all related data from the device
• Removing the app deletes all locally stored data, including all photo projects and purchase records
